Analog and Mixed Signal Design

Integrated Circuit (IC) is a miniaturized electronic circuit usually made of semiconductor devices and passive devices. Today ICs have become ubiquitous and are used in almost all facets of everyday life, e.g. transport, communication, environmental control, labeling and identification. Applications like computers, mobile phones, microwave and dvd players all use ICs as their major components. 
Design of ICs is a highly specialized activity requiring skills in many facets of electronic design. Today IC Design can be segmented into various key areas based on electronic circuit type like Analog, Digital and Mixed Signal. 

Analog circuitis based on non-discrete values of current and voltage to represent real world analogous measurement such as temperature, weight, pressure and so on which are obtained from physical parameter sensing devices and converted electrically. Digital circuits, on the other end, emphasizes the discretization of information into bits(binary digit) for easier manipulation while Mixed-Signal circuitshave the involvement of both analog and digital type signals in the same circuit.

ICdidik LAB is heavily involved in Analog and Mixed-Signal design for various applications in such areas as power management and processor supervision. ICdidik LAB Apprentices along with highly experienced staff from the ICdidik LAB work on design of world class, commercial level IC products which are fabricated in designated foundries. 

ICdidik LAB has highly complete suites for design of commercial level ICs. The tools include highly advanced suites for digital behavioral modeling, analog circuit design, mixed-signal design and IC layout design tools capable of designing from specification up to tapeout to wafer foundry.

ICdidik LAB provides opportunities to the Apprentices to experience full product design flows and work with highly experienced designers to get the knowledge and competencies for IC design.
